Mike is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, where he received a business degree in hotel and restaurant management. He joined the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2006 after working six years in the restaurant industry. Mike is an associate manager for citywide sales at the Greater Phoenix CVB, handling the convention center market for all local, short-term and West Coast associations under 600 rooms peak. Mike is a native of Phoenix, and during his tenure at the CVB he has had the pleasure of witnessing his hometown blossom into one of the nation’s premier convention destinations.

The Greater Phoenix CVB is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to helping the traveling public discover the amenities and attractions of Phoenix and its surrounding communities. The CVB’s sales staff books meetings and conventions of all sizes, and its convention services team assists with the planning of those meetings. The Greater Phoenix CVB works closely with the local hospitality community to promote and strengthen the tourism product of Phoenix, which is the fifth-largest city in the United States. More than 15 million people visit the Phoenix area annually, contributing $19 billion in direct spending to the regional economy.
